1980-1982 Associate with Robert S. Heitmeyer and Associates. Emphasis on site feasibility studies, site planning, preliminary grading and drainage, landscape and irrigation design, and park planning. Duties include preliminary design development, construction documents, estimating, and client contact.

1976-1980 Designer/ Estimator for the Cottage Company, Landscape Contractors, Vallejo, California, performing duties as design consultant, estimator, salesman, and project coordinator for a variety of landscape projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential.
